Growth Comes
From Our Deepest Pains
|
Dear
Blessed One,
The Divine is here. It is standing right in front of you.
What is the Divine reflecting to you?
See if you can adjust your perception enough to recognize the Divine in
the people you encounter. It’s there and offering you a gift.
Is your view so frozen that you’re not able to see it? Can you
look
beyond what the mind wants to judge as good or bad?
We are all reflections for the other and answering a call of the
heart. Our gifts from (and to!) the other do not always come in
pretty
wrapping paper. Sometimes they’re actually so repulsive that it’s
difficult to imagine how it could possibly be of benefit. It is,
or it
wouldn’t be. Period.
Are you seeing something beautiful in another person? That person
is
reflecting you to you. Do you have a desire for stronger and
more
clear boundaries? Don’t be surprised when someone shows up in
your
life who will teach you that very thing. It may not be fun, it
might
be messy, but it will be an answering to a silent prayer. Perhaps
in
time you will be able to find gratitude for the gift that person gave
you.
Our
greatest gifts and most profound growth usually comes from our deepest
pains or tangled difficulties.
Look
deep
as you’re being gifted by the Divine. Don’t shoot the messenger –
that person is there for your enlightenment. Don’t miss the
treasure
that’s being presented to you. Stay open to the possibility that
Life
does what Life does for a reason. It may not always be clear in
the
moment.
This
practice
will assist you in noticing that all is perfect, which will
free you from the burdens of the world, opening you to the Light of
your being.
Much Love and Blessings to You,
shellee

that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.”
