To the Naked Eye

Dear Blessed One,

As we continue evolving together, I'd like to share some reflections on what it means to live in a state of awakened consciousness and effortless being - a state where life flows in harmony with the universe, and we find peace in simply being.

Awakened consciousness is more than just an elevated state of awareness; it's a deep, abiding presence that permeates every moment. It's as if the veil of separation between ourselves and the world around us has been lifted, revealing the interconnectedness of all things. In this state, we no longer see life as something happening to us but rather through us.

Every experience becomes an intimate dance with the divine, where even the mundane or painful carries the sacred. Senses become more attuned; colors more vibrant, sounds more profound, and simple actions like breathing or walking, can be infused with a sense of wonder.

Living in this awakened condition leads to a life of effortless being. Here, life is not a struggle but a gentle flow, like a river carving its way through the landscape. Decisions, actions, and even thoughts arise organically, guided by an inner knowing that transcends the intellect.

This doesn't mean life becomes empty of challenges. Instead, challenges are met with a calm, grounded presence, knowing that all is unfolding as it is meant to unfold. There's no need to push or force outcomes; instead, we surrender to the natural rhythm of life, trusting that we are always supported.

In November 2023, after living in the same place for eight years, the homeowner informed me that I had to move. I had always imagined that one day I might buy the house, but when her partner passed away unexpectedly, she decided to make significant updates and repairs, doubling the rent in the process. Though I didn't fully understand the reason for this sudden change, I chose to take a deep breath and trust that life had a greater plan in motion.

At the time, I had three months of work lined up in Southern California, as well as a flight to visit my mother in Florida. But suddenly, I found myself canceling everything and uncertain when I could reschedule, as my focus shifted entirely to finding a new home.

Unexpectedly, the friend who was living downstairs in the rental agreed to purchase a home with me. We looked at thirteen homes in 48 hours and found the most beautiful and perfect home for us... 2 homes in one, and complete autonomy. By December 15 we were in our new homes, which are more than twice the size of where were. By December 27 I was on my way to CA and the wheels of work and family visit were back in motion.

What looked like a disaster to the naked eye turned into an incredible gift. The large 4-acre field across from the rental, with trees and beautiful mountain views, has since been sold and is under construction for 12 new homes. Every so often, I drive by, reminded of how surrendering to life's flow revealed such a remarkable gift.

In awake presence, we become co-creators with the universe, realizing that the power lies not in doing more but in aligning ourselves with the flow of life. When we do so, synchronicities abound, and what we need comes to us in perfect timing.

While this state of being may seem elusive, it's accessible to each of us. It begins with the practice of presence... being fully aware in each moment. Simple practices like mindfulness, meditation, breath practices, sungazing, and Reiki help us anchor ourselves in this awareness.

It's also essential to trust in ourselves, in the universe, and in the unfolding of our lives. When we let go of the need to control and completely surrender, we open ourselves to the boundless possibilities that await us.

As we deepen in awakening - which often matures over years - we naturally begin to embody the qualities of awakened consciousness: empathy, love, peace, and joy. These are the authentic expressions of our true essence, radiating outward to touch and transform the lives of those around us.

Living in a state of awakened consciousness and effortless being is not an end goal but an ongoing journey... a beautiful dance between the self and the universe. It's a state where we come home to ourselves each moment, finding peace in the simple act of being.

Remember the wisdom of Life... nothing has gone wrong. It is a self-correcting system. Listen deeply. What is spirit telling you?

Much Love and Blissings to You!
