Where to Go

Dear Blessed One,

You may already be aware of the devastating fires here on the west coast of the United States. It is heartbreaking to see so much loss, to hear of friends who have lost their homes, animals, and some of them their businesses.

Where I sit, the smoke is so thick I can barely see the trees across the street and cannot see the hills or mountains at all. We have been on level one evacuation since September 8.

I was looking at maps attempting to make a plan as to where I might go if the evacuation order came. Road closures, traffic jams and fires in all directions made me finally close the computer and surrender to not knowing.

Softening into the heart and remembering life is not mine to control brings me back to peace and a knowingness that I will be guided...even if the guidance leads me to ashes. I don't know what the purpose of all this devastation is and my heart goes out to the many who are in fear and have lost so much.

Where to go when surrounded? In. Go in and feel all that is being activated. Reach out for help, talk with loved ones about your feelings, allow it all to be there. Feel the pain, anger and messiness of being human while remembering that you are held in the hands of Love, always.

There is a great awakening happening and we are in the center of the storm that is calling us all home. I hold you gently in my heart as we together, move through the challenges of rebirth.

I am giving free remote group energy sessions at 9p Pacific every night 9/14 through 9/18 to those in need right now. If you would like to be added to the list, please respond to this email with your name in the subject line and the word ADD.

I sat long waiting for words to come that might express my heartfelt love to all who are experiencing great loss and fear. What came seems so small in response to the massive destruction.

Peace be with you.

Much Love and Blessings to You,

"If you remain too identified with "falling apart," you lose contact with the radiance within, and become misattuned to the flow of somatic experience, exactly as it is. You disconnect with the intelligence of embodied presence, with the wisdom of the earth, and with the realization that nothing has ever been wrong with you. You forget that the darkness, when provided sanctuary, is brighter than a thousand suns.
But if you remain too identified with "holding it all together," you disconnect from your natural vulnerability and the spontaneous mystery as it appears, turning from the surging reality that your heart could break at any moment. It is true that raw, tender heartbreak could approach at any time, requesting safe passage inside you. But it is through this broken aliveness that the poetry of your life will flow." ~ Matt Licata
